Which steam sale is the biggest?

Hi guys, I know that thanksgiving sale is coming up soon, but then there is also the Christmas sale. Which steam sale usually gives us the biggest discounts? I'd hate to get a game for 50 percent discount and then a month later see it at 75 percent discount.

As far as I know, the Summer Sale tends to have the biggest discounts. But sometimes Winter Sale is better, depending on which games you are looking out for.

Hey man, I'm mostly interested in big titles made by big game studios, not really interested in indie games. Do you think it would be better for me to buy stuff on thanksgiving sale or christmas sale?

Christmas in general. Games go on sale all the time though, an occiasional weekend sale might end up cheapter than the Christmas sale.

I typically got more games on X-mas, AFAIR there are more games more off.
