Xbox 360 wireless receiver software Issue
I have the latest version of Windows 10, I have a problem with the wireless receiver for xbox 360 controllers. it is a software is afaik, because the receiver and the controllers works fine with my laptop. I have 2 receivers and many controllers and they work fine with my laptop(windows 10 latest as well)

Whenever I startup the computer, the first 'connection' of the controller works. USB plugged in sound can be heard when I first start the controller. then I turn the controller off, the USB removed device will be heard. I can game just fine. the controller works as intended

Now this is where the problem happens. I turn on my Xbox 360 controller again(for the second, third, fourth time, etc). It syncs with the receiver. but windows 10 does not detect it anymore, theres no USB plugged in/removed sound as well if I try to turn it on and off.

The only way I could make windows 10 detect the controller again is by signing out and singing in again, or restarting the computer. so the receiver works on the First instance... once the controller turns off, I have to restart the PC to make it work

Replugging the wireless receiver works as well, but the controller now moves to player 2, then player 3 on the second replug, and so on

Try forgetting the device and completlty reinstall the drivers for the receivers
Update: somehow fixed itself. I've been trying all day to fix it. suddenly it got fixed. I dunno what I changed. last thing I did was to just reset the BIOS and then returned the settings back(to what I liked), but I did reset the BIOS earlier and it didn't work earlier
