OBS Problem: Input lag but no frame drop

As I upgraded from a 5 y/o laptop to a mid-end PC, I wanted to start streaming but I have a problem I don't know how to solve.

I configured OBS to stream in 720p (1280x720) and bla bla, so when I start the stream or even a normal record, I experience an insane input lag without any frame drop.

Try switching your in game video to fullscreen, borderless window ect.

i can duplicate the 'lag' (not streaming) on my i3-530 + nvidia 9800gt + 8gb ddr3 when playing starcraft bnet VS no input lag when playing via LAN.
i am on 10mbps LTE.

think hes talking about stuttering and lag on his recording, but no frame drops or low fps on his pc.

he does have a pretty crappy gpu, or yiur cpu might be the cause, but i doubt it. try using gforce recorder thing and see what happens. if it still lags on there, hardware causes it, if it doesnt lag, your obs settings are messed up

It's problem of the OBS as I don't experience stuttering using Mirillis Action.

Well theres some setting or settings that are causing it, maybe real high bitrate that your hardware does not support? or try trimming down your resolution and fps and see what happens
