Trying to use xbox 360 wireless controller chatpad with Rocket League
OK so I have an xbox 360 wireless controller (for windows) with an official chatpad attached. I have downloaded Controller Companion from Steam and it works great as a lazy sofa desktop remote controller, but as soon as I launch Rocket League the software closes and I am forced to use standard drivers. Is there any way to use the chatpad for in game chat at all? Running win10 64bit.

Nothing, I'm afraid. The driver included in the Companion is experimental - perhaps highly experimental - so it has to be shut down when a game launches to ensure full compatibility between the game and your controller. At the moment, if you REALLY need to have chatpad support for a game then your only option is to upgrade to an XBox One controller and chatpad.
