Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that CPU locked, so you can't overclock it anyway? I generally wouldn't overclock with a laptop.

No, you can't overclock that processor--nor would you want to if you could, due to the limited cooling capabilities of a laptop. Let's say you could wave a magic wand and unlock that CPU: you overclock, and soon enough the extra heat generated would trigger the thermal-protection circuits and result in major throttling of the processor--completely negating the goal of OC'ing and the entire exercise.

In fact, the entire raison d'être, aka purpose, of the 'M' processors is to 'sip' power and generate lower amounts of heat, so overclocking one--assuming you could--directly contravenes that design philosophy.

If you are stuck for now trying to game on that machine (which honestly is akin to trying to drag race in a stock Ford Escort) then your best bet is to perhaps upgrade your drive to an SSD (assuming you haven't done so already). It can't compensate for an underpowered CPU, but you'd probably get a bit of a spark in the "perceived pep" of the system.

Hmm.. power gaming on laptops tends to get Hot regardless of manufacturer. The batteries in laptops are cost-effective (i.e. cheap/planned obsolescent). Can be done but it certainly wouldn't be my choice for power nor gaming... However, if you want to power your house/trailer/tent with laptop batteries there is an earthy movement of clean energy DIY-ers online.
