WHY IS MY PS4 CONTROLLER ACTING LIKE A MOUSE?

Jesus christ lord and savior I pray for these problems to go away but for the past two weeks I've had nothing but completely random problems with my PC that I've either had to fix by deleting files or hacking just to get things working. And now all of my ps4 controllers are treated as mouses... Can you believe it???? ISN'T THAT HILARIOUS??!?!?? IT WAS FINE LAST NIGHT. BUT NOPE :D

ALL OF THE SUDDEN I COME BACK HOME THE NEXT DAY AND WHEN I START UP STEAM MY CONTROLLER DOESN'T WORK!!! You know what happens instead? Pressing the ps button makes the right analog stick work like a mouse. The top right trigger is the mouse click. And triangle forces it to shut off. And the left analog stick controls volume. I can't play games with my controller anymore because of this :)

Because now. They work like a mouse. I can't do anything. I've gone to the settings. Nothing. Setting up the configuration for a game brings up an error saying it doesn't know what it is. Even tho it's still acknowledged as a ps4 controller. This is why I should stick to console. So I don't have to fix a new problem every single ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ day!!!!! I'M NOT KIDDING I HAVE TO FIX A NEW PROBLEM WITH THE PC EVERYDAY


Someone just please tell me how to fix my controller. Because Holy ♥♥♥♥ is this completely unwarranted. I do literally nothing after playing last night and I GET THIS!!! MY GOD.
