Nintendo Switch Pro Controller on Mac
Got a Pro controller recently. It's working great on Switch, but is not recognized by Steam games at all. I was trying to play Hollow Knight and Hyper Light Drifter and those games simply don't recognize that I have a controller paired with the Mac. Any tips on that?

Steam doesn't support that controller but the Steam Link kind of does but I'm having some stick issues using it that way.

If you want to use it some other way then you need some other software that lets the controller pretend to be another controller.

Hi Guys, just wondering if you managed to sort out the NS pro controller. I am having the same problem. Not able to play HLD on Steam with this controller. Thanks

Go to Steam>Settings>Controller>General Controller settings>
Make sure generic gamepad is checked.

If it finds it then you can use it to map any Steam game to anything.
