If I have a legit copy of a game on GOG can I actviate it on Steam somehow?
I have stalker Call Of Pripyat on GOG but I prefer to have my games on steam. So I was wondering is their anyway I can get it on steam or do I have to rebuy it? Thanks if you can help I just prefer to have it on my steam libary.

No. You must purchase it on Steam to have it on Steam.

Add it as a non-Steam game is all you can do.

Damn alright thats what I thought. I was just wondering because GOG lets you do it for steam games.

It works from Steam to GOG, but not the other way around.

I actually didn't originally know that the CD-key you have on Steam can be redeemed on GOG. (meaning it's not limited to just when GOG Connect is present.)

Ye they are pretty cool about it they don't care. If you bought the game you bought the game thats it.

I had to do that with Torchlight 2 when it didn't auto connect.

I can't complain my copy is drm free which mean's I acutally own the game on GOG.

STALKER is actually DRM-free on Steam too, given you just launch it from its executable. :)

EDIT: Actually, it's probably in the list precisely due to the reason I wrote above. That the code can be redeemed on GOG where it's DRM-free.
The games on this list may have DRM, but you can get a DRM-free copy of the game legally from the developers, the publishers or in a sort of Promotion.
