Anime video purchase

So steam just started this crunchroll thing for whole anime series http://store.steampowered.com/sale/crunchyroll.

My question is this. If i purchase a series is it rented for 48 hours or is it mine to watch forever when ever i like?

They did not start it just now, its been on Steam for 6 months.
And no, you buy the series to keep, there is no rental version for most anime on Steam.
And if they have a rental option its clearly marked under the price button.

The anime series are "buy to keep". BUT you cant download them, they are only streamable and require an online connection. Thats why they are much cheaper then buying a DVD/BluRay Set of a series.

They are also the same versions that are available on Crunchyroll, so in the case of series with sexual content, most of the time they are the censored tv versions.
