Hackintosh pros and cons?
"Hackintosh pros and cons?"
"also will this mess with my mods on skyrim and fallout?"
Thanks for answering.

Why would you install Mac OS X on a common PC? Skyrim and Fallout do not even support Mac OS X.
A1. A Hackintosh, would be a very very good starting point if your looking at Macs. Plus a wonderful goal in it's own right (like a CustoMac), But I struggle with the difficulties and limitations... Forgive me, but in your own words, "Why Mac over Linux?" a Linux Installation is as easy as it possibly can be, the supported hardware, being able to get help, The support for gaming from Valve and finally Linux as a platform: Linux and FOSS (Free Open Source Software)… Why pirate OSX and the software toolchain and throw away security and privacy? Or will you be building an ‘antique’ for Snow Leopard and making a purchase through the App Store.

Macs have a reputation for graphics design, but I feel they are beaten or matched in many/every other field/s. (Gaming, Productivity, IT&Tech, User experience.) And more so when talking about a Hachintosh. Is your attraction to learn, solve problems, try new ideas and push your limits?

If your interest is gaming other options are highly likely to be successful. Windows is ‘good’, but Linux holds a few prizes if your keen to put your mind to work.

A2, Mods and games.
Installing any secondary system, erm means that (?)
You will be able to play your supported games and mods (Plus play with some cutting edge trickery for those pesky Windows games). But if you are talking about the deep customisation with fan made content.... I think the answer is likely to be no. As both franchises are quite notorious for Windows-exclusives.
