Steam Store blocked by MALAYSIA

Apparently steam store has been blocked/ banned by Malaysia Goverment . Reason is unknown, most probally mistaken with some other websites, or maybe they accidentally blocked it instead of steam market which has many reports abt scams. Do any Malaysians has any clues, way to solve it etc, welcome to discuss here. We need our Steam back, We need to shout out to MALAYSIA GOVERMENT !!!!!

My country (malaysia) blocked steam access

I heard they were apparently "offended" by Fight of Gods game. I'm salty as hell now. I've just bought dlc and failed purchasing it because of this thing. Anyone from this country got the similar problems?

Above is the image of my issue, until yesterday i still playing some games in steam.
But today, when i login to steam, its show website block by goverment
i have try with steam client and alot of browser, its is same issue.
And i try with different connection was still same issue..

Sorry to hear it. Not much Steam can do about it, hope they manage to negotiate a solution for you. Banning the platform and not just the game as other countries do, a little overkill i think

Based on the alleged workarounds floating around, your country is blockint at DNS level, which means the filter can not differentiate between the different subpages that steam uses for the different games store pages.

The problem is that Maybank block all their cards to Steam. Even if DNS worked which it doesn't for my brother. If all the Malaysia bank block their cards we can't buy games through steam. I guess i was right into think i should migrate. Blocking an entire service because of an unknown game i never heard of.

Even if DNS worked. What about when we wanna buy games? Maybank has block all their payment to Steam. If the other banks follow suit. We won't be able to buy games.
