Does steam sales ever include newly released games?
So, i checked with this website where there's a countdown on the next steam sales (not confirmed), and it says it'll be in the next 7 weeks. I was wondering if its possible for a game that will be released 4 weeks from now to be included for a price cut in the upcoming steam sales?

I tried looking into this from previous posts, i just dont have the willpower to go through 2500++ pages of posts related to "steam sales". Anyway, thanks in advance for any answers or a link to a thread about this.

That's up to the developers, but it's very unusual to put a game on sale after release.

IF its on sale it will be for a very small discount. Like 10% at most. It usually takes around half a year before games see bigger discounts in the 25-40% range. At least for bigger AAA titles.
Some smaller indie games can be fairly fast on sale with big discounts.

Skyrim went 30% off during the winter sale right after it was released, so yes they can. But as stated it's entirely up to the developers.
