Russian key worked for me from Europe ???

I bought an european key and when entered, it reads The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (RU).

But I can actually play it. I didn´t use VPN or anything else.

I don´t wanna get my account banned, is this normal?

Can happen, sometimes russian retail keys are regionfree. Had that myself sometimes when buying keys outside of Steam. If it worked then everything is fine.
The use of a VPN is forbidden, not the activation of a key, no matter where it is from.

Keep in mind that european DLCs are not compatible with the russian base game, i hope you got the Legendary Edition with the DLCs, or you may encounter some trouble later when you want to get the DLCs as well.

That's a really good point, I got Standard one, but paid via paypal, so I guess I'll get a refund.
