Can't open R6

When I click "Play" on Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, it opens, says its running, then syncs and closes. Nothing appears while this happens, nothing actually opens.

Before this, I had just finished downloading the Technical Test Server for R6, and had a problem where Steam thought I was in the game, even though it wasn't even open. During that time, I couldn't open R6 either.

Trying to open the game at it file location doesn't change anything, and I can't open it via Uplay because the "Play" button is greyed out.

Any help is appreciated.

I'm already trying to verify the game files, but so far, its taking the longest time ive ever experienced.

Just finished verifying game files. No change.
Gonna attempt a restart.
