GEFORCE GTX 1050 TI 4GB is good for games?

I know this isn't the right forum to post this, but pls, help me guys, I posted this same question on yahoo answers and no one answered me (srry for my bad english, im brazilian xD)

Gtx 1500 TI 4gb is a good graphics card for games?? because im going to buy a new pc, and the pc who im going to buy have an gtx 1500 ti 4gb and an intel core i5 6300. Some people says that its an amazing graphic card, but my school friends took me that the gtx 1500 isn't good, because its old and need a lot of assistence in case of brake it. and they took to me spend more and buy an pc whit gtx 1070 + i3

and u, whut u think about the gtx 1050 ?? whort to buy it??
