In the xbox wireless device, disable the power management
March 22 2017 Steam release, Windows 10 Creators update, the bug persists.
It's definitely Steam doing something, because the only way I can get my wireless xbox controllers to turn on is to right click on steam and exit, OR turn on the controllers before launching steam for the first time. Any time I try to turn an additional controller, or wake up existing controllers I have to exit steam. This is the only app that does this, and it seriously messes with the XBOX One wireless dongle :(
Just install GPU Driver; nothing else regarding that.
Happened again today but this time the previous solution didn't work.
Tried exiting Steam before turning on the Xbox One Elite Controller.
I'm guessing another update caused this issue to resurface?
Thank you for this 'fix'. I suddenly started having the issue that Nacery was having just this week and I was just about to go insane trying to find a solution. I almost never use Big Picture mode so that won't be too much of a loss for me. I hope they get this issue figured out, if at all.
