Can't update a game 'cause steam says 0 bytes for disks
I've looked all over the internet to try and fix this problem. It's really annoying because I just got a new laptop charger and I just see this. Steam workshop items seem to work, but updating games such as TF2, Counter Strike, etc. just won't work at all. I've tried installing a game and the same problem. Before commenting, here's what I've tried to fix this: restarted my laptop, killed steam (ending process with task manager), paused and unpaused the installation, and logged out and logged back in. Please help, even if it's just a random guess, I want to be able to play with my friends again.

Maybe you don't have enough space on the disk.

How about some info to work with? Error messages, how much space do you actually have, system info, stuff like that.

No error messages, my laptop has 6 GB of ram, Intel Core i3 processor, and I have 180 GB of storage left.

"Steam says 0 bytes for disk" Where does it say that and what's the exact wording?

Thanks for that image.

Maybe an issue with networking. Do you have other computers on the same network? Is it Wi-Fi or connected by cable?

What do you see in Task Manager under networking? The graph should match what you see in Steam download.

It appears to have downloaded 45MB. Do you know if that came in at a good speed and stopped or has it been trickiling in slowly to reach 45MB?

Shutdown the laptop, reset your router and when it comes back up restart the laptop.

Damn, I would of never thought of using the task manager, on the disk option there's the same problems steam, so I might have to delete stuff to make it work possibly. At least I now know that it's not a steam problem. Thanks!
