Why does steam deleat my my games?

I crashed my computer re installed steam and I found Osirus was deleated. I reinstalled Osirus but my PVP game was gone. 360 hours gone. Thanks Steam!!!!

you may have used the wrong procedure to retain your games library.
the best way is to open the steam install folder delete everything but the Steam.exe and the Steamapps folder. once done just run the steam executable and it will reinstall all needed files without lose of your library.
note: if you just download the steam installer and reinstall it will delete and replace the steam installation resulting in lose of all games installed in the folder. why the above procedure is best.
