Disk up to 100% while cpu is at an idle of 70% at times.
Hello

I trust all you guys are well.

I was just wondering why my computer contantly forces itself to reboot during games and i found out that the cpu or the disk might be the cause. When I looked in task manager today its was at 99% - 100% and my pc would consistently start freezing. Same as with my cpu it sometimes goes up to 70-80%.

Any help would be great because I tried going to several pc stores such as ubreakitifix and a reapir shop in bestbuy. And the people at those places said my pc was fine -.-
plus this is a brand new computer and I and the people at the repair shopped ran system scans and malware scans.

Specs:
CPU: AMD Athlon x4 860
Graphics card: Nvidia GTX 1050
HDD: 1TB (when full it has 1tb. I currently have 856 gb left)

Hi, you may want to post this to the Hardware forum instead, as the users there are more likely to know what the problem is:

Yes. It is just a Windows service that is not required for Windows to run. All it does is preload apps so that they launch quicker but it can also cause the issue you've described.
just clicked disabled and clicked stop.. still at 99% disk space

Just open task manager and see which applications are causing so much load on your disk.

So what application is causing all the disk load? Is it a Windows service or 3rd party app?

When I told them my computer was crashing consistently they said it probably was the psu. So I payed them 179 to put a different psu in there to see if it changed anything and they said it is the same and the old one would be fine so they didnt charge me anything. Btw I currently have a 500watt power supply..

Not sure. Recheck that superfetch is disabled but that is just one culprit. There are more causes that can cause this.

Check Windows Update, two laptops I've dealt with this month have had issues with maxed disk activity, turns out they both needed the Creators Update, and once it was installed they dropped back to a more normal usage. I didn't care try and figure out if it was just a coincidence or if it's some form of poorly implemented pre-loading, but worth checking.
