Whenever i move my mouse around fast, my cursor slowly drifts
My old mouse just slowly difted upwards, i brought a new one after it started to break since its a few years old, i got a steelseries rival 300, and it quite fast drifts towards the lower left corner. What i mean is like when i play games i have to constantly lift the mouse and move it back to my usual position since i have to move my hand and mouse away from me as it drifts.

When i used to play osu on my previous mouse i over the corse of a song i had to lift and move my mouse about 2 times as i had to slowly move downwards to the point of me almost leave my mousepad, now im facing the oposit dilemma as i have to move it away from me, and at a much faster rate. Im talking like if i spin my cursor in a circel fast it only takes seconds for it to drift into the lower corner, just a few rotations.

Do you have any type of controller hooked up , they have been known to cause this in some games .

I do have a 360 controller, but wireless and antenna is not plugged in. Its not only in game, as i said curser. Both my mice behave differently, and iv tried 5 different types of mousepads with both of them, so its not the pad.

Try a different mouse. (If it still does it, then it's probably not the mouse.)

i dont think ppl understand my problem its like i move in a circel and for every rotation it also moves a few pixels towards the lower left, instead of staying in the same place.

Have you tried using a different mouse?

You should try (borrow?) a mouse that is known to work; if works with your system, you can deduce that your mouse is defective.

The only time I experienced this was with my Logitech g500. It had to do with my laser being dusty and the mouse reporting it's position really fast. The dust would make it think it was moving. Is there any settings in your driver's that allow you to adjust how much it's reporting it's position?

drifting doesnt only have to do with lack of deadzone, something that is moving can also drift, the original example of this is a boat, since friction is low, currents and winds push the boat sideways, and off corse. wich is the problem i have.

if you mean stuff like acceleration then no, raw input. my last mouse had dust problems so i blow the dust away quite regulary.
