Installed games don't appeard in library

Hi,
I was about to launch a game (Trove) from steam, but the game do not appear on my library. It is still installed in my steam folder, and when I go on the store and search for this game, it says "is already in your Steam library" but it ask me to install it. Is there a way so that steam will understand that my game is installed already? or do I have to download it again?

I never said it appears as uninstalled, it do not appear at all on my games list. Will try some solution tho just to see if something worls for me too

Well, free to play games like Trove are removed from the library list when Steam thinks the game is no longer installed. That article still applies to your problem.

Click "Play" on the store page and hope Steam will discover existing files.

I've tried that already... I know how to use google, I should have said that I tried all the solutions recommended. I'm not on the wrong account, my filter is set correctly, my ports are blocked by a firewall / router.

So what happens if you go play the game from the store page?

If I click "play", steam want to install it, I would like to avoid that if possible ~~

Have you tried this:

Steam > Settings > Downloads > Steam Library Folders > Right-click on the folder listed there > Repair Library Folder

Yep I tried that too, but it still says that only 5 games are installed instead of 6 (I restarted steam just to be sure, but nothing worked yet)

Again: Your only option NOW is to install the game and hope Steam will discover existing files. To avoid this problem IN FUTURE,

Since I wanted to avoid re-installing it, you do not help ~~
Since I can launch the game without steam, i'll wait and see if I find another solution.
