Steam Quests Site Is A Scam
The site steam quests, is a complete scam to get your steam and other social media credentials. It basically wants you to get points to get a free steam gift card. Which it happens to not be associated with steam and there are no mentions of it on the official site. It may look convincing but when you start looking into minor details it becomes clear that this site was set up to scam you.
For instance the steam logo in the corner page doesnt send you back to the steam site, but refreshes the page. The URL is no in the normal steam format and the "codes" which are most likely illegally generated or unexistant seem to run out and instantly restock. The fact when you have got the necessary people to click on your link (Which is why its a increasing risk) it will ask for you to do surveys - which steam would never do. But the same surveys have been seen in other scams too - which means this site is purely made to steal your personal information and make money. This is a little warning to not go on this site or any other sites that claim they can give away free steam gift codes.

It's best to assume all Steam websites (except for the actual one) are scams.

I clicked on a link someone sent me for it. Do I have to change my passwords now? Or did it not affect me? I didn't click anywhere inside of the page, just opened the link then googled it.

Most scam sites that ask for personal info are not dangerous to click on the link but giving the personal info is a danger (mostly a retarded danger to put in that much info) but the old sites that do that, y'know scammer bot, you had to click more buttons to get scammed. Most scam sites are ones that want all your info.
oh ok, thx

Guys. I went through this just to share to you guys my experience. The halloween thing I did was obviously a scam, which it asked for 8 people (0 codes left for 20 bucks) which lead me to the survey stuff, so at that point, I had to apologize to my friends and I can assure to you guys, never trust a link from your friends when they send you it.
