Expired coupon (Invention) not deleted from my inventory

The expiring date of this -50% on Invention has passed and coupon still remains in my inventory. It may not be such a big problem, but given the Inventory UI it's annoying to have one slot occupied by something I'm not able to delete in any way. Is there something I can do? Steam assistence for inventory items points to DOTA/CSGO communities...

What happens to my coupons when they expire?
Expired coupons will be automatically removed from your inventory.

When did your coupon expire? If it was only a few days then I suggest to wait a bit more.

August 10th. Yeah, I know they should be removed automatically, which has happened until now very quickly. After almost a week it doesn't look like normal latency anymore...

I do not know if it is standard for expired items to be deleted on the date of expiry or not, but I see some users still have expired Steam summer sale trading cards in inventory. It may delete itself at the end of the month, I am not sure.

my coupon expired a month ago. still there. it got me confused and i tried to use it and thought it was in american mm/dd/yy format. it's just steam and valve being retarded

The one in your inventory says 5/31. Today is 6/1. It's only been a day. Give it some more time. They don't disappear immediately.

I have 2 that expired on the 25th and the 28th of may this year... Well... Its now June... lol. So not just you it seems.

In my case they were removed from my inventory as soon as I put something on sale in the market. It's a bug and you can probably trigger the "garbage collector" this way.
