How to add tags in search (besides the ones Steam offers)?
When I search some games and see the tags associated I see for example "Historical", "Economy" and "Strategy". So I want to find more games like that but when I go to the search pages not all of those tags are present (like "Economy") so I can only add two of the tags from the game I found. How is it there are games with tags that aren't offered or able to be added so you can find similar games?

Since tags are user generated that would result in an infinite search list/drop down.

You can type in tags in the store search page.

How do you do that? Type "+economy" or something? How does the search know you're referring to a tag and not part of the name of a game?

Note how I've attached several tags to my search.
Also note that if you attach too many, you end up with zero results.

Also, "economy", is, in fact, a tag as you can see by the section I circled.

Very helpful - I see you have a field to type in a tag beneath the selector. In the Steam app I have no such field (just an expandable list of existing tags). Should I doing this from the webpage for Steam instead of the app? (just tried the webpage and same thing - just the option for "See more user tags"

Go to Store>Explore and you will see the search box with the magnifying glass.
to get to the screen to narrow it down, leave the box blank and click the magnifying glass
