I am unable to add funds in steam wallet.

I am trying to add funds in my steam wallet so I can purchase CS: GO as well as I can remove my steam a/c limitations. But I am unable to add funds in steam wallet through visa. I am getting this error:--

"Your purchase has not been completed. Your credit card information has been declined by your credit card company.

Note that in some cases, your credit card company may put a 'hold' on funds in your account, but you will not be charged. After correcting any errors in the information displayed below, please try your purchase again."

Do I need international visa debit card? I have domestic one.


Please help. And I only want to buy it from steam only.

2. Call your bank and ask them WTF is going on

if it's a new card, have you activated it and are you sure you have enough funds on it?

Yes I have funds in it and its not a new card I have purchased many thing online with it but its first time on steam.

Ask your bank. I for example don't ven knie what domestic credit cards are as I have a plain normal VISA. But from the meaning of words, I think you need an international one unless you live in the USA

just a suggestion: if the problem persists and it's not too much hassle for you, go and buy a steam wallet card. you can buy the game and it will remove the account limitations.

Then get your bank to issue you with a card 💳 you can use for Internet purchases that are International in nature.

A Maestro or Child VISA will not work!

If you ad read the support article on limited accounts, you would know that you can unlimit your account via Steam wallet cards. Still has to be 5 USD or more, not less.
Aa for "where", in Germany, I can get them at video game stores, electronic stores, grocery stores, post offices and ive seen one at a bigger kiosk once. Have you tried the most logical place, a video game store?
