Grand Theft Auto V Has No Play Button And Can't Be Downloaded
So a few days ago I wiped my computer and put in 3 new hardrives because my computer was getting to slow and after I installed steam I started re-downloading my games and in doing so I noticed that GTA V has no "Install Button" like the rest of my games do so instead I tryed right clicking the game and clicking the "install game" button but when I do that I get a very strange error that pops when when doing so this error says: An error occured while updating Grand Theft Auto V (invalid Platform). I have researched the problem and it appears as if I am the one and only person to have this problem. And this isn't the wierdest thing to happen to me, when I go to the steam page to download the game to see if I need another copy or what not the "Install" button next to the "login" button appears for a second then disapears. My steam logo on the app has changed from the new logo to the old boxed logo and everytime I close steam and open it again it has the "installing updates" thing with no progress and then it goes away and opens steam. I hope someone out there has got a solution for me because I am very confused atm. I will atempt to add screeshots. Thank you.

As you can see from the screeshot above there is no "Install" button and the error makes no sense

what's your operating system? furthermore are you using that garbage unoptimized creator's update or whatever?

Did you install a 32 bit Windows by accident?
I am on windows 10 and it downloaded automatically so I'm not really sure what the creators update is and is there anyway to check if your on 32 bit or 64 bit?
So I am indeed running a 32 bit version of windows and I have no idea why it downloaded it when my processor can handle 64 bit. I am currently re-instaling windows

There's absolutely nothing wrong with Win 10 or the creators update. Why are people like you on a mission to spread misinformation?

just specifically creator update has huge problems with many games. windows 10 is the best OS for gaming, no problem with it, but the new beta update breaks a ton of games. anyways op's problem was 32 bit

No problems for me. What "ton of games" are you referring to?

All beta updates break things, that's the point of beta updates! Simply dont install them. The non-beta versions of Windows 10 run games just fine.
So I have re-installed windows at 64 bit version and everything is running fine and I can now install GTA V again. Thank you guys very much

I've discovered that 32 bit windows breaks basicly everything that has to do with gaming.
