really high ping on everything, I NEED help

recently i've been getting really high ping, like 1000 ping. Theres nothing in my house making me lag its just come out of no where and i cant fix it

also are you experiencing lag only on games, or do websites load slowly for you as well ?

well, its weird its only on battlefield 1 because thats all im playing i havent tried other games but loading pages is fine. ON bf1 its says my ping to the server is 40 and i join it then it goes to 1000. from the test i got 42ms and the rest just 5mbps and 0.18 upload lol.

will opening a port affect my wifi or just for bf1?

i do not have much experience with that, but as i understand it, it should not cause additional problems if you did it correctly

i tried doing the port ♥♥♥♥ but i cant its too confusing, thanks for your help but BT is so bad.
