Recently played with not working??

Every time I want to find someone I recently played with my client only shows players from 1 particular game ( in this case Garry's Mod, which I haven't played for 2 weeks now) It wont show any other game and it's not updating so I can see any other players I recently played with unless it was Garry's mod.. I did try to clear my cache, but that didn't work at all.

for me i can see the players i have played with, but none of the games icons or names are shown, it all says unknown games

according to this topic, the "recently played with" has been broken for a while, i am not sure if they fixed it between this 2 years, but probably not

I can see players who recently played with me in Steam Overlay but not at Steam's Community website.

Is this still broken or did I miss something?

I know I'm a little late, but I was able to get to Recently Played With by going to Steam overlay (Shift+Tab), then in the FRIENDS box on the left clicking VIEW PLAYERS. This opens up a window with CURRENT GAME and RECENT GAME tabs. Under recent games, it has a list of user IDs. I didn't see the name of the person I was looking for, so, I clicked the Profile option (fortunately, I got it right the first time). On their profile, there's a drop-down next to their name which shows names they have also played as (because you can change your screen name easily in Steam). The particular person I was looking for had changed their name, but the old name is still visible in the drop-down. Hope this helps!

Always thought this only worked for Valve's games and games using their servers. Would explain why it only worked with Gmod.
