Disable gamepad support for hybrid analog stick and mouse set up (works with all FPS' s I own)
Fix for anyone who uses hybrid pc game controls, analog stick (any type of chuck controller ie Playstation move navigation) and mouse with the help of Xpadder. I have been using a Playstation Move analog stick which is great, it is not cumbersome like trying to use a full controller and has plenty of buttons to bind keys. With some games the Playstation Move controller is recognized when ever a button is touched and all button prompts show gamepad inputs and if you move your mouse shows keyboard commands and vise versa. First I'm going to assume everyone has a Xbox controller of some kind, if not get one they are all awesome. Plug that in and start your game like you were going to play with the Xbox controller then after the game is on its start menu alt+tab to your desktop open Xpadder and it will recognize the Xbox controller then plug in the controller you use for your hybrid setup (which would be the Playstation move chuck for me) and at the top left of the Xpadder window you will see two tabs one for the Xbox controller and one for the second controller you will actually be using (these tabs just look like a rectangles) then just make sure the second controller is being recognized (you will see the buttons light up indicating that it is working) alt+tab back to your game and the game will no longer think you are switching from gamepad to mouse and keyboard. With some games (Metro 2033) I need to keep the controller plugged in but with most games after you see the keyboard commands with your chuck just unplug the Xbox controller and relax. Your chuck will now be free to bind to any key and the game will only recognize what is set in Xpadder.

Thank you so much for this post. i couldnt get the hybrid setup to work in apex legends or re2make, but i just tested AL out and its actually working now thanks to being "second player".

Thank you so much for this post.

I've also been using a PS Move controller for Apex Legends and at first, it was working fine. I haven't changed anything and suddenly every time I press something on the PS Move controller, Xbox buttons appear in the game. When I move my mouse, it switches back over to PC buttons.

I followed these steps and it's still not working. Any idea what I should try?
Steam has a controller configuration in Big Picture mode, plug in the PS Move controller go to the controller configuration settings and clear all buttons so the Xpadder button confirmation is the only thing being registered.
Also when using the Steam controller configuration to clear all inputs there is no need to do the original steps of plugging in an Xbox controller then the PS Move, as long as the PS Move is plugged in and the controller configuration for that game through Steam is set to have no inputs the only inputs recognized will be Xpadder inputs. Sorry for the multiple updates I just woke up.
