Steam Wallet Currency Conversion: USD to INR
I am from India. If I get a $20 Steam Wallet Code from the US and use it on my account, how much Steam Wallet Money will I receive in INR after conversion? An Australian friend of mine told me that he used a 50 USD code and received about 39 AUD after conversion (which is equal to 30 USD).

Xe.com is a pretty useful site if you looking for a currency converter.

I know how to convert currency, mate. It can easily be done through google only. What I wanted to know is that how much steam wallet money will I receive. I've been told that steam reduces the value after conversion. Take for example that Australian friend of mine, whom I have mentioned in the question. He got a 50USD steam wallet code. 50USD = 63AUD. When he used the code, he got 39 AUD in his steam wallet. So, how much will I get in INR for a 20 USD steam wallet code? Why there's this huge deduction in the actual value after currency conversion on Steam?

Because the company that sells you those cards want a part of the profit. They, bh the way, why I recommend staying away from those things and pay directly on Steam.
