This is why Devs and OEMs do not bother, it's pointless, at least for average consumers.
It only really works on what you may have seen in arcades or at something like an E3 show.
It's very high $ stuff. You can't really make that work, for cheap.
No, unless the game was made for VR + Motion, you won't be actually walking using VR, to play non-VR games either. Alot of VR games still are also just sitting types. Yes it feels better to stand, but most of the walking part is done with controller axis; looking around with head and also moving arms; which movies or interacts with items, guns, reloading, and such with motion controllers.
Occulus is nothing good, not without the Motiton Controllers.
Vive is where its at, because it already comes with motion controllers.
Without the handheld motion controllers, you'll be paying less for Occulus, just to sit and still using KB + Mouse, or say an Xbox Controller.
My best experience in one FPS at this time are on Wii with the wiimote and wii zapper combo the experience is like xbox controler but with one better aiming.
Now i have find this the touchmote programme for pair one wiimote with your PC.
Other soluce i have the steam controller with the motion.
But what i need with the steam controler for the motion ?
Steam dont have any detection bar ?
Or one Ps4 controler with the pad, my friend use it for aiming in game.
The mag 2 controler look nice too.

i dont know the value of this gun in game but the gun look nice.
If you know one better gun just tel me.
And i dont want VR stuff really because i want to try it on game like Call of Duty or Player's Unknow Battlegrounds and this game dont support VR right now.
"Steam Controller gyro aiming" <---- youtube
Sony DS3 and 4 Controllers have that too; but does that feature work on PC at all?
Just wondering since I never tried.
I did try out DS3 gyro briefly in GTAV release on PS3
I have tested DS4 with Blutooth connection and adding controller to be a "default" under Big Picture settings. After that it is possible use both gyro (and/or touchpad) just like Steam Controller.
Yea DS3 is dead to PC, it basically just never landed proper support.
All controllers are a plastic shell with a PCB inside; whats your point.
You think VR motion controllers are any different?
You want to talk about built quality; hmm Nintendo *cough* Switch
That stuff was made in sweat shop by kids using 3d printers.
They may all be shells with a PCB inside, but that doesn't mean they were all created equal. Some people would consider both of those to be unacceptably poor quality.
