I have 4 games in my cart and I'm unable to purchase them because all the payment options (domestic credit/debit card, net banking and Cash on Delivery) I use show the error message as shown in the title of this thread.

I can't even buy Steam wallet cards because I've updated my debit card and I'll only receive my new debit card some time this week. By then, it'd be too late and the sale would end and I'd have to buy all these games at full price. I've already missed a sale due to payment methods not working, and I can't afford to lose this one too.

What do I do?

Hey ...same problem I am facing here. I have contacted the steam support center and they have replied me that they are working on the same issue.....let's see when the issue will be resolved....

Probably an error, happened to me once when it was really busy.
Like back with the summersales on the first hour, literally stopped working when i pressed the "pay" button lol.

Give it some time, clearly they are aware of the issue.

It's been like this for days now. I know they are aware of the issue but the sale is going to end on Friday. Does Steam have a history of extending sales for people who have transaction issues?

If sale ends you can't purchase that game with that sale price...I am also facing the same problem as I told you before....let us wait for resolving....or else we will loose the sale benefits...

That payment method has been down for a week and they know about the issue. You just have to wait for it to be resolved. You may miss the sales.

Im not sure what the problem is and im not too technical with this stuff, but maybe you can go out to a store and get a steam giftcard, and im sure there are a few websites that sell digital steam cards.

November 25, 2021 - This issue reoccurs but only affects the paysafecard payment method. There have been game sales since yesterday, but I can't buy them. How will steam compensate for this?

They generally don't compensate. Either the issue will be fixed in time or it won't, and if you miss the sale because of it, then that's unfortunate.
