Differences between VEGAS Movie Studio 14 Platinum Steam Edition and VEGAS Pro 14 Edit Steam Edition?

I don't know anything about those softwares, except than they look like common Sony Vegas and both were developed by Magix just like SV. There's any difference and why there's a big difference on price too? BTW, First time using community help. So I do not know if this is supposed to be on Help and Tips. Lol, sorry. Also, can I open projects than I made with other Sony Vegas on other computer?
