Why are Lightshot links disabled in the Steam forums?
Some of you probably know Lightshot, it is an app that activates when you press Print screen and lets you draw a frame from your screen and draw or write on it, basically an improved way to take pics and send them alot quicker to your friends since after pressing Print screen you can have a link to send to your friends in 10 seconds to share your picture.

https://app.prntscr.com/ in case you are interested

I wanted to post a disscussion yesterday on a games forum and added a link to a picture I took with Lightshot but the link was removed. Does anyone know on what basis does Steam remove links?

Could be that the game has a disclosure about sharing art and gameplay on Youtube and the like. Hard to say without knowing what game. Usaslly stated in a sticky in forum

He's talking about the prnt.sc website being blocked by Steam's global link filter.

@OP no one knows, it's probably because people were using it for spam or scams. https://postimages.org/ is still allowed though.
