If i disable mcafee when i play games will my games not crash?

Can't grammar, but yeah mcafee keeps crashing my games and since this is a family computer I can change it. So will it not interfere with my games if i disable it?

What? Im confused, what do you mean by exclude and placing the steam folder in game mode.

If McAfee has an option to exclude a folder, do it for the entire Steam folder.

If it has a game mode, enable that and test

Disable that crap because it's a terrible "AV"

I cant exclude a folder I have to exclude a specific file. Theres no game mode. If I disable it then everyone in my family will get mad at me because they only think my dad is right and they think that I don't know anything about computers and ♥♥♥♥. thanks tho :/
