The Sims 3 on a Mac.
I just bought The Sims 3 yesterday, not knowing it had requirements for computers you can use it on, and now I can't play it. I've heard of the CD-key and Origin and whatnot, but it's just really confusing and I don't know what to do. Should I just get a refund, or can someone help me?

You could play it on Origin using the CD key.

Mac System Requirements
OS: Mac OS X 10.5.7 Leopard or higher
CPU: Intel Core Duo Processor
RAM: 2 GB RAM
DISC DRIVE: DVD
Hard Drive: At least 6.1 GB of hard drive space with at least 1 GB of additional space for custom content and saved games
Video: ATI X1600 or Nvidia 7300 GT with 128 MB of Video RAM, or Intel Integrated GMA X3100
This game will not run on PowerPC (G3/G4/G5) based Mac systems, or the GMA

You can refund it if you want, or log in on a Windows PC to get the CD-Key and put it on Origin.

Origin has the PC & Mac versions and the key you get from Steam will activate just fine.

It has to be on a Windows computer?

You can try to see if it shows up on the library. On the right side it'll say CD Key.

If not then as far as I know you need to be on a Windows PC or emulated so it can start and request the key.
