Change language on my steam achievements?

I live in Sweden and my steam client is in Swedish. I've had it like this for years so I'm used to it and don't want to change it to English. However, recently one of my games got updated and suddenly all the achievements are in Swedish instead of English! This really REALLY bugs me because what sounds good in English does NOT sound good directly translated to Swedish. There's also achievements linked to exploring certain areas in the game, and they've changed the name to a "Swedish version" of the English name, which just doesn't sound right. Is there any way for me to change the language for just the achievements back to English?

Did you ever figure this one out? I've changed language to English, but for certain games the steam achievements are still displayed in my native language (Norwegian) - and the translations are HORRIBLE (clearly done with google translate, certainly noone with even a remotely knowledge of any scandinavian language). I want my steam achievements in English :(

Set your Steam client to English.

I share your pain, German translations are often rather painful so I keep this stuff in English.

So set your Steam client to English and only set select games, the ones you know don't suck, to your native language.

Thank you. I managed to change the language for achivements alone somehow, but that only made it worse (translated only some of the achievements for the game in question...), but now I also changed the language setting for Steam itself to English so no more horrible translation :)

In steam client, click top left "steam"->settings->interface

The other settings only seem to affect the shop and some other stuff, but the achievements are unaffacted by those settings.
