1. Buy a new keyboard
2. HDMI 1.4b supports "only" 120 Hz in 1080p

Check you monitors manual to see what ports support 144hz. I have one monitor that doesn't support 144hz over hdmi and another monitor that does.

As for 0 on your keyboard depends by what you mean ♥♥♥♥♥♥? stuck down/up or won't respond. Have you spilt anything over it?

I managed to fix my o but it wont work now and again. Ive only had this keyboard for about a month and it cost me enough money. As for the 120hz, my monitor will only show 60hz. My monitor ONLY has a HDMI input, but it can support 144hz, so obviously then HDMI 1.4b will work... as thats the only input my monitor can take.... I have a HDMI 1.4b plugged into my monitor going down into a Display Port which is connected to my graphics card. (1080ti). So it could be that my monitor motherboard or something is ♥♥♥♥♥♥?

EDIT: I dont really care about 144hz, 120hz would be good enough but im not even getting that.

If the keyboard is only a month old and already faulty return it for a refund or replacement.

Thumbs up (not) on entirely ignoring the second question. I don't ask that for the lulz, you know?
Anyway, you need DP 1.3 for 120 Hz.

Thumbs up (not) for editing the second question in when I had already answered you *derrrp*. Anyway, If you read the recent posts, you can see that my monitor does not have a DP input. ONLY HDMI. So...

You can get solid keyboards for reasonable prices.

Your graphics card still isn't modern enough. You need DP 1.3.

Do they though?

1.2 can run 3840×2160, 4K, at 60 Hz; or 1080p resolution at 144Hz
1.3 can run 8K at 60Hz or 4k at 120Hz

The issue in this case would surely be their HDMI port on their monitor which at HDMI2.0 would limit them to 60 Hz.

The source I found spoke of DP1.3 having support for that refresh rate. Stupid source...

The Acer GN246HL has an HDMI 1.4a port, but does not allow higher than 60 Hz over HDMI.

You would probably need to connect via the DVI-DL port to get the 144Hz you want as it doesn't have a DisplayPort connector on it.
