Joystick aerofly fs 2 problem?!

Hi there,

i am having some trouble with aerofly fs 2. i have currently played 11 hours with no problems until today. i connected my xbox one contoller to play lift off. then when i swapped back to the joystick to play aerofly i had no input.

i have uninstalled and reinstalled my joystick and re-assigned all of the controls in steam which all seem to work as far as assigning them goes. the problem is when i open aerofly and try to reconfigure the joystick, all that is listed is the xbox one pad, which is not connected and has been uninstalled from the computer. when i try to assign the controls in aerofly i am missing 2 inputs, which is right thumbstick x and y (aileron and elevator) and all the other buttons/control surfaces are working correctly. this is really starting to annoy me now, i want to uninstall the game and reinstall but its 31gb and it would take me too long to re download and im really trying to avoid that route.

hopefully somebody can help me,and it will be greatly recieved.
