Steam won't let me buy on the Market
A while back I saw a cool skin that I wanted to buy for $1.75 on the Community Market. I went to buy it and it say I needed a mobile authentication. After I put that on I had to wait 30 days to buy anything on the Market. I came back today which is the 30th day and I went to buy the skin for a higher price since it the price went up over time and now it's $2.35. I went to buy it and yet another reason I can't use the Market. "You must have a valid Steam purchase that is between 30 days and a year old with no recent chargebacks or payment disputes. To remove this restriction..." After all that time waiting for 30 days that happens and I can't buy it. To get rid of this and get the skin steam is making me either buy a DLC or a steam game. I don't have any games with a DLC package and I don't want to buy a steam game for a couple reasons.

1. I Use linux and there aren't as many games on linux that I can play on steam

2. I don't want to spend money on something I don't want or spend too much money on a game

3. I really just don't want to buy a new game

Steam is getting more strict about rules and policy's. Why can't steam just have a 5 day wait or less. Honestly I have to wait 15 days for a trade to transfer. I want to send a gift I just bought to my friend and I have to wait 7 days. A lot of people want instant transfers and aren't as patient as others. I am one of those people. I tried looking for skins on websites like OPSkins, Tradeskinsfast, Bitskins. Well you get the point. On OPSkins I wanted to add funds and buy the same exact skin for $1.83. It wanted me to add all my information. Address, Government ID, First and last name, email and more before depositing any money. Csgo empire wouldn't let me deposit most of my skins and neither would tradeskinsfast. OPSkins also makes people have to add $10 from paypal to the website before purchasing any skins. I just wanted a skin for $3.00 or under. Bitskins wouldn't let me pay for a skin with out depositing $50 from paypal. Steam is pi$$ing me off and I am sick of these Errors, Shipping, and steam related websites to use as a Market. I realize steam Is trying to prevent fraud trades and faked items but would you really want to wait a month later to get your awesome skin or something in game you want. Steam should rethink this situation and if amazon can prevent fraud why can't steam?

You don't need Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator to receive or to buy items without holds. It's strictly on when items leave your inventory whether it be in one-sided from your end; or in both-way trades.

You do need 15 days of Steam Guard protection though (whether that be with e-mail or Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator is up to you); and a purchase that's between 30 and 365 days.

It's all really covered here:

Besides, this works too:

Honestly, considering how one-time only this is for most of us, I'd say keep the 30 days. While inconvenient for some, far more secure for others as far as credit card fraud and such go. Unlike on the Steam Store, you're doing transactions with other users on the Market.

I Don't want to buy a steam game just for a CSGO skin.

So add funds instead, and wait 30 days.

So give this a look,
https://help.steampowered.com/en/wizard/HelpWhyCantIMarket

Because it should count.
No Purchase Older Than 30 Days
Your account must have a successful purchase older than 30 days, but not older than a year in order to access the Community Market. The purchase of wallet funds, games, DLCs and software meet this requirement. Activating a Steam Wallet Code or Gift Card on your account to add funds to your Steam Wallet also meet this requirement. Retail CD key activation and gift purchases do not satisfy this requirement.

So, use another web-browser whose cookie Steam has no issue using. If you're on Chrome, use the Steam -client instead, or vice versa.

When did you add the $10 USD?
