Games not kicking out audio :S
Some of my games aren't outputting any audio after the intro screens.
This just started happening today....

Internet audio ie. facebook, youtube and movies are working fine.

The weird thing is that only the intro is heard. Have you checked that the audio settings are correct in video games? Or that in the sound mixer is not the sound lowered to the maximum?

And have you tried restarting the computer to see that you did not work the audio well?

Yeh, sound is at 100 for just about everything. I've tried disabling Nvidia Control Panel > Setup digital audio > turn off audio, Enabling Sterio Mix, Going back to my Speakers instead of headset. Audio Settings are all at 100 for Speaker properties.

I've enabled and disabled (Give exclusive mode applications priority. My sample rate is at 24 bit, 48000 hz (studio Quality). Hitting Test outputs audio fine. I've restarted about 4x now.

TW3, Lawbreakers, Little Nightmares, PUBG, KF2, Portal, Paladins work.
Alan Wake, DOOM, Grim Dawn Bayonetta, Strafe aren't.

Yeh, about 4x. I have no clue what else to try. My mic and headset are working perfect as well.

And have you tried checking cache integrity? It is in properties, local files.

DOOM and Strafe both successful. Sill no sound.

I found a FIX! Steam didn't tell me it was running in compatibility mode until i opted back into the Steam Beta! Right cliking on the Steam.exe > properties > compatibility it was also unchecked!
