Change the icon of steam on the desktop

Hey! I was wondering how you change the icon of steam on the desktop! When I right click and press "Properties" I don't see a customize tab. I know it's possible as I've done it before, but I just can't remember. Sadly I had to re-install my computer and lost the way the steam icon looked. I don't know if this is even the right place to ask but I hope it is!

create a shortcut of steam on desktop go to steam folder right click on steam.exe and send to desktop then you can change it.

The change icon button is under the shortcut tab, not customize.
