How do I directly contact Steam Support?
How do I directly contact Steam Support? I need to ask them a specific question about the Steam Client and I can't seem to find any way to contact them directly.

You raise a ticket just like everyone else does. It's probably quicker if you ask your question here though as chances are one of the regular posters already knows the answer.

I don't see an option to open a ticket there. My issue is that Steam for Mac is a 32-bit app and Apple is stopping support for 32-bit apps next year and was wondering if Steam will be updated to 64-bit.
I doubt the client will be 64bit. But there is a new UI set for later this year.

Please don't waste time contacting Steam Support about that. There is likely NO WAY that the people who do Customer Support know (or are able to tell you) if Valve is going to address a problem that's going to happen with Apple until a year from now.

Depending on what percentage of Steam Users are on Apple, Valve would be dumb not to make a Steam client compliant with Apple's new standards (that won't happen for a year from now). However, again, there is no way Steam Support can give you a definitive answer for that now. So, it will just waste their time and yours for you to contact them about such questions.

Steam support isn't for general questions like that, that's why they have forums and also the CEO's email is public.

You should make a thread on the mac forum with a title that summarizes your question/concern, they mostly lurk but it should be seen.

Also are apple really dropping 32bit support for OSX? I heard it was iOS only?

iOS 11 as well as macOS 10.14 (coming in 2018) won't support 32bit apps.
