Depending on what percentage of Steam Users are on Apple, Valve would be dumb not to make a Steam client compliant with Apple's new standards (that won't happen for a year from now). However, again, there is no way Steam Support can give you a definitive answer for that now. So, it will just waste their time and yours for you to contact them about such questions.
32 bit apps will still work on Sierra. Sierra will simply give aggressive warnings but will still work

You should make a thread on the mac forum with a title that summarizes your question/concern, they mostly lurk but it should be seen.
Also are apple really dropping 32bit support for OSX? I heard it was iOS only?
