[Steam > Settings > Controllers > General Controller Settings]
If you don't like using Big Picture Mode in-game with DS4, just disable this under
[Steam > Settings > In-Game]
Then while the controller is turned on, right mouse click on the game on your Steam -library and choose [Edit Steam Controller Configuration] if you want to bind more advanced than the default X360 bindings.
Which dongle do you use? I find Asus BT-400 to work fine on my DualShock 4 v2, and its connection is simply done under [Add a Device] and then holding down the [SHARE] and [PS] -button down on the controller.
Thank you for your reply, I used steam's built in support but it only works for other games besides GTAV. I dont get whats up with that game at all. Every other game works fine.
Ill try not using the Big picture mode and disable it tomorrow and see if it changes anything, but I did try and use the game without big picture also but no change sadly.
The dongle I use is the actual Playstation Adapter provided by themselves, all i do is plug the USB in and and hold it down for 3 seconds and do the exact same thing as what you did with the buttons and it connects, just somehow GTAV is being a total b**** about it.
I even uninstallled GTAV yesterday to see any change but NOPE.
Once all of that stuff is removed and you only use the official PS4 and Xbone drivers, things tend to function perfectly.
I guess so, thanks for your help anyway :)
