Can HiAlgoBoost get you VAC Banned?

It's a pretty popular third-party program that helps you boosts fps in various games, I was wondering if the VAC system could detected it as a cheat by mistake and automatically ban the player?

HiAlgo apps use code-injection technology to get attached to the game, therefore they may be confused for cheats by anti-cheat software.

I would not use it.

Code-Injection is a really big no-go. I wouldn't try it. Way to risky.

i've stop using that program, the dev said while ago that you might get banned for using that program..but they say on the new description that program is vac-safe, maybe they did some improvement and thing on the latesr version..but still i wouldnt risk my acc..just play safe

If someone got banned for using it, could they possibly recover their account by contacting steam's support and explaining the situation?

Of course there is some exceptions, there's been a lot of people who got vac banned by mistake and got their account back.

I can't remember anyone specific but i've seen people saying they got unbanned in the forums.

if its a false ban, the ban is removed by the system.

as you can read in the pinned thread the support CAN NOT remove vac bans.

FPSbooster is third-party software.

So there is no reason to remove a vac ban if someone get banned for it.

Thats near how wallhack works. This Programm also only lowers the Resolution, this you can do by yourself....

I use it to lower LOD in some games such as CSGO... no vac since months... so It's safe to use on VAC only protected games... if a game uses BattleEye or other anticheat it *can* ban you... but VAC is OK with HiAlgo

That's what i wanna use it for, to reduce the LOD and get FPS Boost since my PC is pretty bad.

This can be done without using injectors. Typically, you can adjust game settings with a combination of in-game settings, config files and adjusting the settings of your GPU.

To reiterate, the creator states on the website that the program may be identified as a cheat. If you use it, it is at your own risk.

Typically, people use LOD in CSGO not to boost their FPS but to gain an advantage in-game because enemy players stick out against flat textures that are not obtainable by changing normal game settings. Cheating is something done to gain an advantage in-game.

Since you've posted high resolution screenshots from games like Friday the 13th it doesn't seem likely that you're having problems running CSGO.

You just have to change things in the config files to get what that can do for you.
No third-party business.
It's 100% less riskier since it's already part of the game itself.
