Do reporting an account can BANNED?

pls do answer my question! i already report that account many times. but i cant assure that report can banned that account ! pls do help me

It depends. What exactly did they do? If they did something minor, they probably won't get much

Once again it always depends. Doing somethings can get you a full ban (if you did it multiple times or if you've done something really bad). Doing other things can get you a year ban. And so on.

Well the system on every website for banning works sort of the same way. When you send a report on any website, it will be looked through. The people looking through will be able to access anything and everything you did prior to the report. You'll have to be proved that you hadn't done anything to start the problem, as reporting is taking very seriously. If you report someone, they have to make sure you aren't lying about the whole thing, as some people think it's funny to report someone for something they hadn't done. Anyways, at max, it should take about 2-3 weeks before they get back to you (At max, they still might get back to you before then) and yeah

im not lying on that report . i report that account couz hes a scammer . we said just trust me then after i send that item to him. he unfriend me already then no more communication! sad to say why do people do this to good people :(

In most cases the victim actually gifts his items for empty promises.

I never said you were. Sorry if it seemed like that. I was just making a point that steam checks every report topic to see if it can go through or not. Yours will probably get him a ban
