Disable Group-Event Notification?

Hi!
Some time ago there was a Steam-Update and according to the news (relating to this update) there is now a function to disable group event and announcement notifications in Steam.

Unfortunately I can't find this option.

Could anyone tell me where I can find it, please?

I think you go to your friend list and click cog icon and then notifications tab.

It was removed in the new UI. Use the commands to revert back to the old UI if you want to change that setting again.

Changing the booleans to false in the remote sharedconfig.vdf config did the trick for me in the past.

I haven't tested it quite extensively.
