Skip Spotify Songs While in Game with PS4 Controller

Hey, Steam, Shugs here. I own a Razer keyboard (Blackwidow Chroma) and mouse (Deathadder Elite). The shortcut on the keyboard to skip songs in spotify is Fn + F7 (which is skip track). I've been messing with the steam controller settings so when I click on the trackpad of my PS4 controller it will skip the spotify song. I have tried multiple options in the steam configuration, even made a bind to my mouse to skip a song and then bind the touchpad to that mouse button. No luck at all. I'm mostly trying to use this for Rocket League. Is the game interfering with it? Does the steam bindings not read the Razer Synapse macros? Any help, suggestions for me to try, something.

Sadly, I don't know. You could always contact steam asking them if they know or not. Sorry... I never used steam with a controller. Best of luck getting an answer out of steam though

hold ps4 button and flick left stick to the side, works for me
