Game Updates Stuck at 0 BpS- Secure Internet Outside of Download Screen

Hey there,

So I hopped on to update a few of my games and was faced with a flatline on the downloads screen. Needless to say, none of my games are updating and I've tried everything short of getting a new computer to fix it. Is Steam undergoing some sort of work at the moment? Anyone else having this issue? If so, do we know when it will be resolved?

Same problem here man, i think one of their servers got overloaded on the downloads and took a ♥♥♥♥. Im sure within an hour or so it should be working again, Till then i try over and over =-/

just downloaded skyrim se in about 3 minutes... so it does not appear to be a steam issue

+1 I am having trouble with downloading anything. Closing steam has taken a hit as well as it stalls at stopping the game install.

Just not working right now~ I tried a few things including a re dl of all files from just steam.exe. Checked my net, rebooted for good measure. Rolled back Beta to Live builds and nothing fixes the problem.

Glad to see i'm not alone.

edit: and after an hour of struggles, as soon as I post the game begins downloading.

same here. I tried to clear download cache, restart computer and even reinstall steam, but still failed to download or update any game. Very disappointed about it!

Gotcha. Thanks guys, glad it's not just me haha. Was losing my mind there for a second.

(UPDATE: Apparently, after roughly two hours, it seems to be working again. Hopefully the same goes for y'all.)

It seems to be the north american download servers. Switching to UK has all of my games downloading now.
