YouTube videos showing as a blank space
This happens when they are linked in discussions, or in activity feed, or in Videos section of any game. I don't even see the thumbnail, just a block with a red cross in the corner. When I click it, the space enlarges where the player should appear but nothing shows up. Been happening so long now it is really annoying. Anyone else have this issue?

Tested in Steam client and FireFox 54.0.1.

ReBoot 12.7.2017 klo 1.45 
First of all, uninstall Flash. Then, toy around with the HW video decoding setting. That is, change it, restart Steam, try. Restarting Steam after uninstalling Flash is also a good idea.
